Who Are We?

We're first generation young farmers that take pride in the food we produce for our community. Our farmhouse is from 1891 and sits on almost 11 acres of neglected farmland that we are in the process of bringing back to life. With 2 barns, 2 coops and a greenhouse we have renovated, we began 2022 with our first crops from a newly built market garden and our first flocks of pastured poultry.

In the future, we will emphasize principles like soil health and biodiversity, championing native and heirloom, and making this a farm that supports both the local community and the local ecosystem.

Meet Meg (the farmer)

I became a farmer later in life after realizing that office jobs weren't for me. I quit my account management job in 2016 and the very next day started at City Green in Clifton, NJ. From there, I apprenticed at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture in Tarrytown, NY (where this wonderful picture with Princess the pig was taken) before taking the farm director position at Hazelman Farms in West Milford, NJ for 4 years.

Being a breast cancer survivor diagnosed at 32 helped me realize that I shouldn't waste time doing something I didn't love. I look forward to meeting you at the farm!
